Welcome to New and Returning Board Members 

In 2019, Northspan welcomed two new board members, Jamie Adams and Kiera Wilson. Two current board members, Arik Forsman and Anna Tanski also began their second three-year terms on the board.

Jamie Adams is an Economic Development Planner with the Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa. In her role, she has helped guide Fond du Lac’s Food Sovereignty Initiative and the Cobell Land Buy-Back program. She is also helped secure funding to build a Fiber Internet Network throughout the reservation. Jamie lives in Solon Springs, Wisconsin with her husband and daughter. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Environmental Studies and Urban and Regional Studies from the University of Minnesota-Duluth.

Kiera Wilson is a Business Banking Officer with The Lake Bank in Two Harbors, which has been her employer since 2004. She has worked in numerous roles in banking over the course of her career, most recently as a Business Banking/Commercial Loan Officer. She has also been active with the Lake County Chamber of Commerce, the Two Harbors Development Fund, and the Blandin Community Leadership Program.

Arik Forsman is a Regional Development Representative for Minnesota Power, where he works with local economic development partners to help grow the regional economy. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from UMD and is a native Iron Ranger. He currently resides in Duluth with his wife and two children and serves as a Duluth at-large city councilor.

Anna Tanski is the President & CEO of Visit Duluth, which is Duluth’s official destination marketing organization. She oversees efforts to increase tourism, visitors and conventions, and enhance awareness of the tourism industry in Duluth. She is a Superior native and currently resides in Hermantown.

Northspan appreciates the expertise and contributions of its new and returning board members and looks forward to their leadership as we lay out our vision for the future.
