WILDERNESS HEALTH STRATEGIC WORKSHOP| 2023
Challenge: Wilderness Health, a collaborative of independent health care providers in northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin, sought a facilitator for a strategic workshop day that brought together its board members and staff, including a review of the past year, a board member engagement summary, assessment of progress on a strategic plan, and identification of annual goals and outcomes.
Role: Northspan conducted a kickoff meeting with the group’s executive director, facilitated the daylong workshop, documented the proceedings, and worked with the group to provide a final document.
Results: Northspan guided the day’s conversation and developed a summary of the meeting, including reflections on the day’s proceedings. With a new shared understanding and updated goals, Wilderness Health has been able to make headway on some of the issues it confronts.
