In January 2022, Ali Bilden Camps joined the NORTHFORCE team as the program’s strategy and development consultant. In this capacity, Ali is a first point of contact for employers and candidates seeking employment in the 10-county region of northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.
Among other responsibilities, Ali will work to
- Represent NORTHFORCE at tradeshows, career and job fairs, and other informational sessions
- Develop and grow connections with regional employers and educational institutions to aid internship and job development and placement
- Connect individuals with professional advancement opportunities and support our regional employers’ current and future workforce needs
Originally from Siren, Wisconsin, Ali moved to Superior when she was a teenager. She earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Superior and a Master’s of Business Administration from the College of St. Scholastica. Prior to joining the NORTHFORCE team, Ali led the United Way of Carlton County as Executive Director for 7 years. She lives in Duluth with her husband, Scott, and mini Australian Shepherd, Arrow. Ali enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, biking, and exploring the shores of Lake Superior.
“I’m excited to work with regional employers and help them connect with the talent pool of candidates who are looking to work in the Northland,” shares Ali. “This region has so much to offer and a great variety of employment opportunities.”
